Manila Forwarder Philippines
Manny Paez
Recent delays of some containers during the Christmas Holidays
prompted Manila Forwarder Phil, Inc to take over the Philippine
operations from Monark Customs Brokerage.
Manila Forwarder Phil, Inc has been registered with the Philippine
Securities Exchange Commission and has been acting as 24/7
telephone customer support and technology provider for Manila
Forwarder, LLC since 2006.
With the new set up effective 2008, Manila Forwarder Phil,
Inc. have partnered with Legalas Custom Brokerage and purchased
an existing logistic company in the Philippines . The existing
company was supplemented with additional delivery trucks and
top of the line technology to facilitate an up to date and
efficient distribution network.
Listening to clients recommendations during shipment delays,
as well as management’s personal experience in Manila
customer support and actual delivery operations have prompted
the company to institute reforms that will be beneficial to
the clients.
Delivery trucks will be manned by US trained logistic expert
and will be equipped with text messaging capabilities, allowing
our Manila Headquarters to have control and knowledge of exact
location of our delivery fleets.
Global Propositioning System (GPS) which has just been recently
introduced in the Philippines is now under serious consideration.
Each delivery truck personnel will also make delivery appointments
to the consignee the night before preventing the unnecessary
waiting time of recipients who sometimes need to take a day
off to wait for the delivery of their packages.
With this new scheme, Manila Forwarder’s internet package
tracking will be updated live via SMS system at www.manilaforwarder.com.
This will also lessen telephone inquiries.
The company also added fuel efficient Suzuki vans to handle
urgent special deliveries in Metro-Manila and surrounding
areas. This supplements the more than 27 delivery trucks for
Luzon Island alone.
There will also be a better coverage for Visayas and Mindanao
as the new company has been handling corporate accounts aside
from balikbayan boxes.

Task Force Suzuki can handle special trips at a fraction
of the cost and can negotiate Metro-Manila traffic with ease.
Another improvement is the location of Manila Forwarder Phil,
Inc warehouse which is located inside the secured Port of
Manila . With this, containers will be processed and loaded
to Manila Forwarder’s distribution trucks a lot faster
and more efficient.
Manila Forwarder Phil, Inc’s customer support will still
be located in Valenzuela City which is connected via Virtual
private Network ( VPN ) to our Los Angeles , CA Headquarters
and Port of Manila warehouse. This telephone customer support
will be open for 2 shifts to augment the Los Angeles office
to provide 24 hours customer support from Monday-Saturday.
As a cost-cutting measure and to prevent stress among personnel,
the office will now be closed on Sundays.
Manila Forwarder ocean cargo container leaves every Mondays
and Wednesdays.
Manila Forwarder Five Day Service leaves every Friday noon.
